The Ananda Institute of Alternative Living at the Ananda Meditation Retreat offers a wonderful opportunity to experience nature and quiet in a peaceful, uplifting environment. We operate completely “off-the-grid” without electricity. Propane lamps and low-impact refrigerators and utilities are used in our cabins, and we do have solar power and generator back-up for times of need. To assist your experience of seclusion and deep meditation, we do not offer phones, television, radio or other electronic devices in our rooms. Adjacent to our main guest lounge, we have a telephone reserved for those guests who need to make calls using a calling card or phone card.
