ART & CONSCIOUSNESS: BEGINNING TO ADVANCED PAINTING
Dana Lynne Andersen, MA is the Director of the Academy of Art, Creativity & Consciousness in Italy. Dana is a multi-media artist (painting and performance) who has taught and exhibited on three continents. Dana’s workshops are fun and expressive– taking you on a journey to deeper creative awakenings within.
In this learning intensive in Transformative Arts Process, we will engage the modalities of the arts (painting & pastel drawing, movement, theater, etc.) as vehicles for activating higher consciousness.
Dana holds degrees in Philosophy and Consciousness Studies and is a multi-media artist and teacher. She is founder Awakening Arts, a network of artists who affirm the noble purpose of art as a vehicle for uplifting the human spirit. Her work has been displayed in U.S. and international art galleries, in children’s books and magazines.

The campus is located 28 minutes from the Beaverton MAX (light rail) station in Beaverton, Oregon. We are 15 minutes east of Forest Grove, Oregon. We are located on the “Scenic Route” on SW Laurelwood Road between Bald Peak Road and Spring Hill Road. Depending on traffic and your location, we are approximately 45-90 minutes from Portland, Oregon.
Check-in is Monday, Mar 25th at 8:00 a.m. in the boutique above the Green Hill Cafe in Harmony Hall (on SW Academy Way) on campus. If you are staying overnight on campus on Sunday, Mar 24, you may check-in Sunday when you come for your room. As this program is process-based, preference will be given to those attending the entire 5-day program for $475, which includes lunches. Google Map directions from your location to:

Students will learn how to initiate, facilitate, sustain and complete their own creative
investigation. This capacity is applicable to all entrepreneurial ventures and
evolutionary life adventures. Students will be working with various media such as
paint, collage, clay, poetry, costume, music, dance, theater, etc.
** Ritual of Transformation
Each student will be supported by the group in their own unique ritual ‘act of
transformation’
