Bradley Banana and the Jolly Good Pirate

Art Student
Illustrates Children’s Book

“Bradley Banana & the Jolly Good Pirate” (Hardcover, available at spirit-in-nature.com) is a delightful story about a young boy on a tropical adventure with pirates, creatures and hidden treasure. The book will be available in early July and was illustrated and designed by Chitra Sudhakaran, 20, a junior Inspirational Arts student, and written by LilaDevi, author and founder of Spirit-in-Nature Essences.

Chitra’s delightful watercolor paintings capture the humor and beauty of this children’s book for ages 5 and up. At the college, Chitra has focused specifically on Inspirational Arts/Graphic Design. Asked what she plans to do after her senior year she remarked, “I don’t have set plans, but whatever I do, it will be related to art because being here for three years has given me the confidence and experience to excel in design.”
