Short-term loans: These loans are available on a limited basis, and are expected to be repaid by the end of the summer following the academic year for which the loan was given.

Support from other sources: Ananda College encourages you to identify potential sponsors to approach for monthly support or for a lump sum. A number of our students have cultivated multiple sponsorships from their communities, friends, and extended families. A parent, co-signer or sponsor is asked to fill out an agreement with Ananda College for these purposes. (See Financial Aid Application, Section II, Co-Signer Information.)

There are other possibilities to help you with your college expenses. Many employers offer assistance with college expenses for children of their employees. Your local library and the Internet have resources to help you search for college grants offered in your geographic area and/or field of interest.

Process to Receive Assistance

Submit a completed Admissions Application and Financial Aid Application, along with your $75.00 application fee.

Your information will be reviewed and you will be contacted for your admission interview, preferably in person. After you are admitted, you will meet with the Financial Aid office to work out an agreement that includes all sources of payment, including those mentioned above. You will then sign a Student Contract, which outlines that agreement in detail.

If you are being subsidized by parents or sponsors, signed agreements will be requested from them as well.
