Heart of the Matter

I was studying psychology in Belgium and the professor had just spent two hours lecturing on all the aspects of anatomy…our physical body, our being, and who we are as humans. He never mentioned the soul. Now, this was right when I had just started reading “Autobiography of a Yogi” by Paramhansa Yogananda. So, at the end of his lecture I gathered all my courage to raise my hand in an auditorium with 300 other students and asked, “but what about the soul, sir?”   more...
