Building With Spirit Program

This Building With Spirit program is designed for people who wish to learn the building trades, to learn how to "Build With Spirit," and to learn to build community. Participants will learn building skills, which they can then use as professional builders. They will also learn life skills, which they can then use in any walk of life. It is open to all people regardless of age, sex, religion, or experience.




The Program is oriented to give substantial training to the novice or the experienced builder. They are designed to train interested individuals with the skills to build structures and facilities of all types. For the building trades, we provide training in all aspects of building. Design, site development and landscaping, excavation, concrete, framing, roofing, plumbing, heating, electrical, drywall, finish carpentry and cabinetry, painting, and flooring are the primary topics covered. For the ‘Building With Spirit’ aspect, we provide training in meditation, working with people’s strengths, using intuition, infusing Spiritual vibrations in your work, seeing the Divine Creator manifest in all that you do, scheduling according to the Divine flow, and similar life skills.



Long-term program: $350/mo.

These programs include the building seminar, ongoing classes, discussion groups, and group meditations, and fulltime work on an actual building project. The program is based on an entire building project from start to finish. Each program will last from one to five months. Participants are required to complete a one month minimum stay.



This Program draws from the experiences of Ananda Construction, Ananda Builders Guild, and Ananda Design and Construction, and Ananda Community workdays and workweek projects. It has been developed from over thirty years experience building Churches, homes, businesses, and community buildings at the Ananda World Brotherhood Village and other Ananda Colonies.
